About Our Ride

On May 28, 2012 Mac Sullivan and Drew Gottman will set out on the adventure of a lifetime. They will be riding across the entire continental United States from Seaside, Oregon to Point Pleasant Beach, NJ - approximately 4,000 miles in 67 days - in order to raise money and awareness for the crippling, genetic disease known as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In particular, they will be riding for Cory Stalling; an extraordinary 11 year old kid who has courageously battled this disease throughout his entire lifetime. Join the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by supporting Mac and Drew as they attempt to ride for someone who can't.

  1. Hey guys. Im a friend of Ty. My younger brother also has Duchenne. I just wanted to say it is an awesome thing that you are doing.I'm not sure you will fully realize the impact you and your ride will have on peoples lives or even on your own for that matter until it is completed. But coming from someone who has felt the warmth of hope given by others who care to make a difference, know it is a feeling unlike any other. My brother is my everything. So it truly means so much to me that you're going to such great lengths to raise awareness for DMD. You are going into this ride riding for Cory but after you are finished I believe you will see that you have riden for so many more as well. I wish you all the best during this amazing adventure. And when riding gets tough and you dont think you can go a pedal more think of all those with DMD and remember this quote, "strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will."
